Freeplay Arcade Night

Instead of our traditional troop meeting at the church, the troop will periodically plan a special event for the scouts. This week, the scouts went to Freeplay Arcade (normally a Barcade, but the bar was closed for the scouting event). The scouts and parents had access to approximately 150 games including the old-style arcades, pinball, air hockey, and more. For the adults, it was a blast from the past walking into an arcade. For the scouts, they said they have never seen anything like it and looked forward to returning.

While Freeplay is normally a 21 and over bar, they do offer a family day one Sunday a month where kids under 21 are welcome. They have two locations, one in Providence, RI and one in Worcester, MA.
